Susan Goulet is a Senior Iyengar teacher who regularly teaches arm balances to students ranging in age from 18-75 years old! She is the owner and director of the Milwaukee Yoga Center which she opened in October, 2000. For the past 10 years, she has also taught a 3-credit yoga and philosophy course for UW-Milwaukee which has been attended by students of every size, age and major.
Through humor and encouragement, Susan hopes to inspire her students to greater self-awareness and discovery. Susan came to Iyengar yoga later in life, after being hospitalized for near crippling arthritis and Crohn’s disease. After adopting a grain-free, dairy-free diet and a serious yoga practice, Susan has been symptom and medication free for almost 20 years.
